My Cats

Well, as a vet student, there's no better place to begin my blog than by describing my kitties.


Kiya
Nicknames:  Meowsy, Spotty Girl, Meowmix, Kiya Kaliona

Bengal, 2.5 years old
Spoiled rotten, pretty pretty princess, knows how to sit, lie down, and shake on command (seriously).
Proud winner in the vet school pet show
       2009:  Best Trick (1st place)
       2010:  Prettiest (2nd place)

Tristan
Nicknames:  Twiz, Twizzle, Twiz-tie, Fluffy Boy, Trizdy, Twizzle-Stick

Inbred farm cat, 1.5 years old
Favorite pasttimes include running through puddles of water at a Mach 3 and chasing butterflies (and also being really really fluffy).  He is also the least graceful cat ever, which is very cute.

Nikita
Nicknames:  Nikki, Snack, Snacky, Snick-Snack, Snick, Persnickety, Riblet, Snickerdoodle

Cutest kitten ever,  6 months old
Loves to cuddle, enjoys fetching her favorite toy (no, really, she fetches like a dog).

Scout

Nicknames:  Scout-About, Scouty, Scoutley, Scouter
orange tabby, very nice boy, survived a run-in with mom's car when he was a kitten, expert mouse catcher and animal dissector, likes to line his catches up in a row

Skylar

Nicknames:  Moochie, Smoochie, Fluffy Pants, Mushy
tuxedo cat, big bully, wanted in 7 counties, reason for many horror stories across the nation

Tommy
barn cat, sweet boy, friend to the alpacas and Missy Moo
