Alpacas: Like Mini-Llamas, Only Not

You've officially been introduced to my kitties, so now it's time for you to meet my dogs and alpacas.  Is this becoming a serious relationship??  On a side note, I now have FOUR followers, which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.  I hope you all aren't bored to tears.  Okay, let's start off with the original alpacas.  All of our alpacas are Huacaya (as opposed to Suri).  They all have their own personality, and they are truly a joy to own.  We send our blankets (the top-notch fiber) into a co-op, and this year we had our seconds and thirds (the fiber from the neck and upper legs) turned into rugs.  We hope to get the rugs in the next few weeks.  I'm not sure how much time you've spent around alpacas, but they also make the best animal noise ("hmm").

Eva.  She's much fluffier than this now!
That sums up the alpacas.  Hopefully Callie, Flourish, and Athena are all pregnant, so our herd of 6 will become 9 around September.  We have two alpaca livestock guardian dogs.  They are both purebred Great Pyrenees, and they are fantastic.  Very sweet dogs!
